The Trust actively encourages visitors to the creeks. With the help of Network Rail the trees blocking navigation at Crayford Creek have been removed. Masted craft are only able to access Crayford Creek because of the restricted headroom at Bob Dunn Way bridge. Cruisers and narrowboats / barges can navigate up Dartford Creek and can pass through the semi-derelict lock where it is possible to moor on the mud banks. The Trust has cleared the slipway at Nelsons Row in Dartford. Portable craft can be launched by experienced navigators.
